The only factory produced Macon F2 car in the world, this car was purposely
built for & imported by W.A.’s Craig McAllister in 1969. Macon was a
Formula Ford manufacturer in the U.K. Having lead a full & sucessfull
racing life in Western Australia it was rescued by Bob Biltoft in 1981 from

Car No. 32, 1967 GWG/Ford ANF2 – Group ‘O’

The GWG is an Australian built special by racing enthusiast Graham Gilbert
of Victoria. The GWG used the Brabham BT18/21 as a basis design. This car
ran on Victorian tracks of the late 60’s before being shipped to Tasmania
& back again in 1980. This car came to W.A. in 2005 where it has been
quite successfully campaigned since. It is believed that the GWG was the
first car in Australia to run the Ford Crossflow ”Kent engine configuration
